TEACHING
My teaching focuses on creating inclusive and engaging learning environments where students can connect Earth, environmental, and climate science to real-world challenges. Through active learning, mentorship, creativity in the classroom, and bilingual engagement in English and Spanish, I aim to create spaces where students from all backgrounds can learn, participate, and and develop the knowledge and confidence to engage with the world around them.
Earth's Climate Saga: From Extreme Past Climates to Modern Challenges
Summers - Brown University
Since 2024, I have created, developed, and served as the lead instructor for the Earth's Climate Saga course in the Summer@Brown program, where I designed and teach a college-level class that introduces high school students to climate science and Earth systems through interactive and inquiry-based learning.

ENVS0490 - Environmental Science in a Changing World
Spring 2026 - Brown University
I am the instructor for Environmental Science in a Changing World for the Spring of 2026, an introductory undergraduate course open to all students that explores how Earth’s systems respond to human impacts, with a focus on climate, energy, agriculture, biodiversity, and science-based solutions to global environmental challenges.

Guest Lecture
