Lina C. Pérez-Angel

I'm a paleoclimatologist with a focus on understanding modern and past climates using stable isotopes and organic geochemistry tools. My research interests are driven by a deep interest in Cenozoic paleoclimate and exploring how past climate can inform our present and future world. 

In addition to my research, I am also an educator and science communicator. As a co-founder of GeoLchat, our mission is to bridge the gap between geosciences and society by dismantling language and access barriers to knowledge. I believe that making complex scientific concepts accessible to all, both within and beyond the classroom, is crucial for fostering a deeper societal understanding of Earth, Climate, and Environmental sciences.
