Making science accessible, inclusive, and engaging across multiple audiences is one of my core passions. My outreach work bridges science, education, and storytelling, with a focus on expanding access to Geosciences for students, educators, and communities.

Co-founder of GeoLchat, a bilingual science communication initiative focused on making Earth, Atmospheric and Planetary science accessible to Spanish- and English-speaking audiences through digital content, interviews, and community engagement. Podcast Contributions - Cumbre Kids
in both Spanish and English
Science contributor and podcast guest for Cumbre Kids, where I develop and share engaging science content for children and families, helping translate complex scientific ideas into accessible and inspiring stories. Check out the episodes in Spanish (earthquakes and sediments) and English (sediments). I'm also a member of their advisory board.
Museum Curriculum Development
Hands-on & inquiry-based STEM education
As part of a wonderful collaborative team, I contributed to the development and implementation of hands-on, active learning curriculum for elementary/middle school summer programs in partnership with the Museum of Natural History at CU Boulder, with paleoclimate-focused activities that engage students to explore Earth’s past through interactive, inquiry-based learning. K-12 STEM Curriculum & Development
Place-based curriculum creation & teacher training
Developed and implemented place-based STEM curriculum and educator-focused resources for K–12 settings across multiple communities. This includes designing and delivering professional development workshops for teachers in rural elementary schools in Colombia as part of a collaborative team project supported by ASLO, as well as creating inclusive climate educational materials for students in Providence, RI.

From public facing-talks to collaborative projects
I have also contributed to a range of science communication and outreach efforts, including collaborating on public-facing articles (Proxies for Justice) in both English and Spanish, delivering invited talks (e.g. Spanish Heritage Month event at a Museum of Science in Boston), participating in podcast interviews and public talks, and leading a science communication workshop with the Graduate Student of Color in STEM (GSOCnSTEM) group at Brown University, all aimed at broadening access to scientific knowledge.
